- Security is provided by your own member number
and a special access code.
- Dial (02) 319 5855, enter your member
number, and follow the instructions.
- The access code for first-time users is your
birth date, expressed in 6 digits (see tip 3).
You may alter your access code at any time after
the first call.
5 TIPS ON USING VOICE BANK
- 1. Make sure you have a TouchTone telephone:
One that emits a beep when you press * button.
- 2. Don't key in too fast: If you're used
to computer keys, you could be keying in too
quickly on the TouchTone phone. This is
particularly important when you have the same
consecutive numbers in your membership number or
birth date, for example 22...
- 3. Keying in your birth date: Remember,
you need to key in 6 digits. So, if you were born
on 1st January 1973, key in 010173 and then a
star, (which is situated below the number 7 on
your phone's keypad).
- 4. Don't forget the star: After entering
your membership number, access code or birth date
and after other information when requested to do
so.
- 5. Key ahead: Once you are familiar with
the Voice Bank system, you can "key
ahead" to the services you wish to use,
rather than unnecessarily listening to all of
your account balances first. Keying ahead with
Voice Bank is easy when you've done it once or
twice before, and it will save you time.
