Vowels that Appear before a Word

The vowels for this lesson appear at the beginning of a word.
SO when you see these vowels at the beginning of a word, just say the sound for it and read the rest of the word.
Yeah I know...they look a lot like some of the consonant.
Don't worry, when you begin to read you'll know how to distinguish them from one another.




short -a- sound
a short "a" sound

say "father" in Khmer. OAH ... something like that..oh just listen to the audio
