Vowels
All the vowels are going to look the same, but the vowels will sound different depending on a particular consonant.
I will start you off with the consonants below. All of these consonants will go with the vowels sound in this lesson.
I will introduce other consonants and their particular vowel sounds later.
TIP: I suggest you print out this page and look at the vowel as it is being said.
VOWEL SOUND CHEAT SHEET:

- EUH "to be cool" in Khmer
- A long 'a' sound as in PAY
- AAH say "Khmer" and you should hear this vowel sound
- OAH say "pant" in Khmer. KOAH you sound here this vowel sound
- OUH pinch somebody and they will say "OUH"
- OM say "uncle" in Khmer you will say this vowel
