Help With: Viewing Our Web Page
Our page doesn't have frames or large page layouts that need large monitors, so to view our page, all you need is a java enhanced browser. Common java enhanced browsers are Netscape Navigator (3.0 and up), Netscape Communicator, and Microsoft Internet Explorer (4.0 and up, or 3.0 and up for the Mac). This excludes the America Online web browser and many of the older discontinued browsers. You can view the page with a non-java enhanced browser, but some of the options will not be available.

o Your browser is not java enhanced. Your browser will have trouble displaying the web page correctly.

Help With: Email
All email sent to the band will be directed to Dave Degasperis, if you wish to send mail to a certain band member, go to the "Who We Are" (members) page and click "Email" under the member you want to email. Some of the members of the band don't have email addresses. To send email to the band, simply go to "Other Things" and fill in the email form by entering your name, email address and a message. The form wil notify you if you forgot to fill something in, but it won't notify you after the mail has been sent, so please only click the Send button once. You can be assured it was sent if you don't get any error messages. Please consider signing our guestbook while you're there.

Help With: Our Mailing List
King Friday sends out news every month or so, or when a new show is announced to our exclusive mailing list. To subscribe to the mailing list, click "Subscribe" at the Index. Please do not include anything important in the body of the message, because it will not be read. If you want to email the band see the help topic "Email." If for any reason you decide you would not like to recieve updates via email anymore, you can return to the Index and click "Unsubscribe." When your email address is put on our mailing list it will stay exclusively in our mailing list, you won't have to worry about receiving junk mail from outside sources.

Help With: Publicity & Shows
As always, we'd appreciate any publicity you would like to give. Every time we have a show coming up we put a flyer out on campus, but if you would like to help us publicize beyond the Providence College campus, you can print out our flyers and pass them out. We put our flyers up on the web page whenever we have a show coming up, and we'll put up show times and if possible, directions, on our "Shows & Times" page, accessible via The Band" page whenever we have an upcoming show.

Help With: Searching
Searching the site is easy. Just go to the "Search" page and enter a search term. A search term must be typed in all lowercase letters. You also must push the "Search" button. Pressing return will only reload the page. Search results will be displayed with the title of the page and a brief description of what's on the page. Search results are based on brief descriptions and keywords. In order to use the search form you will need a fully capable java enhanced browser. See "Viewing Our Page to see if your browser is java enhanced.

Help With: Slide Show
To see the slide show, link to "The Band" and click "Slide Show." To view the slide show you'll need a monitor that is capable of showing 256 colors or more (almost any color monitor). You will also need a java enhanced browser capable of displaying frames. To determine whether or not your browser is java enhanced, read the section "Viewing Our Web Page." If you can't meet these requirements, but would still like to view the images, you can go to the "Image Index", accessible from the "Slide Show" page.
