Site Update 11/28/00 05/28/98
I haven't talked to the band in a long time. Last I heard they had gone their seperate ways, but the site will remain intact simply because it's a fully functioning site. In the future it may belong to someone else, but I like the design and the content so I'm leaving it up as an example (like for a portfolio). If you've come for information about the band what's here is what you get. Sorry.

Update: Mailing List 05/28/98
ARGH! The hits on the page are up to 120-something. That's an estimated 60-70 total outside hits. People are looking at the web page... people care... will those people subscribe to the mailing list? The mailing list is run off a private email server, and the list is only ever seen by me, because I'm the only one with access to it. This means no junk mail, and no unwanted mailings from other bands. Just pure, good, clean fun once a month when you get a nicely formatted newsletter with news, information, updates, shows, polls, free stuff, and offers (when the cd is finished). Sample Newsletter

Site Update 05/27/99 05/28/98
The site aged and turned grey. The blue and white was kind of peppy, so I've redone the site back to it's table-based design, this time though, I did it with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Explorer is so much better than Netscape it's not even funny. So for all of you Mac-faithfuls who won't go near a Microsoft product, you're missing out. Anyways, The site will look alright in Netscape, but a lot weaker than it does in Explorer. Check out the updated search page, with new searching options and nicer looking search results. The whole site has been made over so it's easier to navigate, and the mysterious login page has been removed because no one was using it.

Site Update 03/11/99 03/12/98
The site was kind of drab, so I added a black stripe to the top of (almost) every page with a cool graphic. If you can't tell, on "The Band" and "Who We Are," the backgrounds are musical instruments. Dave and Jess will be putting up their pages soon. Jess's will probably take a while, but Dave is planning on putting one up in the future. Check back later for more site news.

Battle of the Bands 02/21/98
Last Saturday, ten bands from around the Providence area played at Stuart's, an on campus hang out at Providence College for the Battle of the Bands. The Battle of the Bands was hosted by a Providence radio station, 91.3 WDOM. Of the ten bands, three of them made it to the finals. The three bands were King Friday, Fallout, and Picture Fellowship. After two sets, however, King Friday won the Battle of the Bands. They won a few prizes, as well as 10 hours in the Triad Recording Studio. It's a local recording studio in Warwick, Rhode Island, so you can be expecting a demo soon.
