Candida can be susceptible or highly resistant.  Mortality of candidemia is 50% in the elderly even with appropriate therapy

Candidal Cystitis Fluconazole PO 200-400mg day one then 100-200mg qd x 4 days

Resistant candida or blood borne Fluconazole 400mg IV q24h x 7-14 days or Ampho B 0.5mg/kg IV q24h x 7-14 days
