I promised to tell you more about myself....Since 1982 I've been devoting a lot of time to music. I play Conga's, Drums and all sorts of African, and Latin-American-percussion. Some songs seem to go allright too, even though I don't really have a singin' voice. The time I had between gigs, in all of Europe, I studied English/Dutch translation and took up computing as a hobby.

Being a musician I obviously have a taste for music. Now this is weird because I seem to like the strangest things...For starters there's Opera. Now don't get me wrong, I usually don't like opera but Verdi turned me around. Nowadays when I hear something similar I take the time to listen if I like it. Then there's the Sex Pistols. Weird? Oh well, that's nothing compared to the weirdness in TripHop.... There was a time when Bob Marley was my hero, just like the Stones, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Steel Pulse, Madonna, AbbA and Lionel Richie but those days are gone. Now my heroes are part of those one-day heroes that are mass-consumed by yours truly. Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Skunk Anansi, you name it, I like it ! When I go out on an occasional fridaynight there's nothing more relaxing than dancing to this modern-day trash.

I went to secundairy school in Curacao but had to finish it in The Netherlands in 1982. After that I started in the music-business which has been really good to me. I played in a variety of bands, varying in style from top-100 covers, to salsa, and rythm & blues. Currently I'm working on a solo project wich will come out in the form of a c.d. in december. Travelling, cycling, art architecture and design, swimming, dancing, photography. Furthermore I enjoy watching F1-races, hiking, reading and quiet nights watching Discovery channel or the BBC. Maybe I'm also a Star Trek fan, I don't know......but every time there's science-fiction on I have to see....My favourite food: Italian
