Bot 2000 MISSING AGAIN!

After suffering extreme digital depression over failed Linkadilly art project , Bot 2000 flees! Police find its Super Server motel room a mess! Captain Tom Striker of the first precinct says; "Empty liquid Nitrogen bottles were strewn everywhere. It was horrible!"
Disturbing recording left behind!

VNR Shrink-Bot; "Apparently, intensely influenced by the French postimpressionistic fauvist Savage, Paul Gauguin, Bot 2000 may have tried to commit suicide after a three day Liquid Nitrogen binge by running its 49,500 art programs all at once. As I predicted, the interface with the supercomputer Blue Mountain unhinged Bot 2000's grasp of cyber-reality."
Authorities find a touching call from Bot 2000's Motherboard on answering machine.
Cyberdetective Bob Bullets; "Quite frankly we are tired of this Bot 2000 nonsense! When we find it...we are gonna blow its chippy lil butt away! The dang crazed Bot linked my 16 year old daughters 'Pooh Bear' homepage to Bambi's Luv Hut in Las Vegas!"

VNR's ART-Bot does not think so! "Well...I mean....Bot 2000 has an on/off switch. What's the big deal? Besides, I've been to Bambi's....she just reads really nice bed-time stories! Something just isn't right! Like, who is linking VNR if Bot 2000 is not doing it?

4/1/99Virtual News Report is created with exciting new invention; the Arbitrary Seek Sites Bot 2000. Bot 2000 fails to logically link referances inVNR's news articles about cyber space from the editors desk with 'gusto'. VNR is sued by fifty thousand sites and goes belly-up on 4/2/99/. Skeleton crew of BOTS remain to carry on the work from within an office computer that was accidentally left on when the humans left. One year pre-paid rent and lease to small apartment near a pier in Tampa goes on unnoticed. HACK BOT 100 build 909 successfully has power and air conditioning turned on for pier7 apartement, and BOT 100's hide-out secret server-shack.

4/10/99 VIRTUAL NEWS REPORTS 'Arbitrary Seek Sites BOT' is HACKED AND CLONED!!. Bot 2000 gets scared and runs away.

4/15/99 Virtual News Report's Tech Support gone for weeks but no one notices. BOT 100's Secret hide out reported, but no one can find it.

4/20/99 Our roving reporter CUB BOT has seen our escaped BOT 2000 on a remote site called '*Highband'!

4/24/99 We have contained our Arbitrary Seek Sites BOT 2000!! Yes, thanks to the skill of our expert TECH BOT we have our wayward chip in the Virtual Lab being questioned by our Company SHRINK BOT at this time.

5/7/99 VNR buildsY2K site! The recovered BOT 2000 goes to Los Alamos Labs in New Mexico to the worlds fastest and most powerful supercomputer 'Blue Mountain' to attempt an interface and save the world from 9/9/99,Y2K, and Y2K1!

5/17/99 After the terrifying Blue Mountain interface (Suddenly exhibiting artistic tendencies) Bot 2000 is resting comfortably at home engaging in art projects for rest and relaxation. See historical article.

6/1/99 After a failed art attempt and being accused of linking a 16 year old girls "Pooh Bear Homepage" to Bambi's las Vegas LUV HUT, Bot 2000 goes on a Liquid Nitrogen drinking spree, attempts suicide (?) and is missing again. It is now wanted by the law!
