Drinks

Vodka jelly

You'll need about 1/4 of a bottle of vodka, a pack of jelly (green or purple look best), plastic cups to pour the mixture into and a fridge. One pack of jelly does about 20 cups.

Mix as per instructions, but add some vodka to the mixture (about 1/4 of the water).

Pour into moulds and put in fridge to cool. Not the freezer as it will be too cold! Takes about 4 hours to set.

Serve out to everyone (with plastic spoons)

Queens' Old Hall Punch

You'll need lemonade, orange juice, vodka, peach schnapps and some punchbowls.

I think the ratio is 6 parts mixers to 1 part alcohol. Added fruit irritated everyone and made it harder to scoop up the alcohol.

Kiwifruit daiquiri

You need a blender for this and some time for preparation. Crush as much ice as possible and store in the freezer. Add rum, lime juice, chopped kiwifruit, a splash of green food colouring and sugar to a blender filled to about half with ice. Blend and serve.
