In order to provide the highest satisfaction to the customers, we have designed a very innovative video-conferencing application for e-Banking. The following is the characteristics of BankCON:

Language Interpreter

In BankCON, we are having a language wizard in charge of interpreting the communication between two parties. Since the customers or employees might come from any place around the world, they maybe speak different languages. If two parties speak different languages, it might face a lot of problems during the transaction with the customers or training the employees. Therefore, we design a language wizard to solve this problem.

Before initiating the video-conferencing, the users can choose the language that they are most familiar with. That means if another party choose a different language, the language wizard will play its role at the background to interpret the languages between them. For example, if the customers are speaking Mandarin, but the financial expert only knows English, they still can talk to each other through the language wizard. The language wizard will interpret Mandarin into English and vise versa.

This is really one of the amazing features in BankCON. Right now, we have successfully developed 4 languages for the language wizard, which are English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Japanese. We will keep on increasing the number of languages for the language wizard.

Smart TV camera

We are applying the latest human intelligence technology for the TV camera used in the video-conferencing. Although there is only one moving camera in BankCON, this camera plays an active role in video conferencing. It will act as a human that actively choose the best view of the current speaker because it is voice-driven.

Since there is always a trade-off between the resolution of the video image and the frame rate, the camera is well-designed that it will increase the frame rate and reduce the resolution of the video image when it is positioned at the speaker. However, when it is capturing the white board or transmitting digital documents, it will automatically reduce the frame rate and increase the resolution of the video image.

This is an innovative product developed by our teams, but the costs of the smart TV camera is still very high. That is the reason why there's only one camera in BankCON. In the future, we are planning to produce it in a large scale in order to reduce the costs, only then we can add more cameras in BankCON.

Smart secretary

This is another creative feature of BankCON. During the video conferencing, there is a "smart secretary" preparing the minutes at the background. Here is where the human intelligence applies again. The "smart secretary" will summarize the important points at the conference, and provide the minutes for all the parties involved in the conference.
