A videoconference system must have audio-visual equipment (monitor, camera, microphone, and speaker) as well as a means of transmitting information between sites. We choose switching networking technology for BankCON because it is relatively low cost and allows practically unlimited number of the simultaneous videoconferencing sessions without the performance degradation of other networking applications. Because we use personal computers or workstations in BankCON, so packet switching will be more suitable to BankCON. There are 2 technical ways of obtaining a multicast functionality over packet networks: multiple point-to-point and packet multicast. We would like to use multiple point-to-point connections: Multiple point-to-pointMultiple point-to-point connection is established with each destination. The confidentiality is higher as the conference only involves the members specifically accepted, and with which dedicated connections have been set up. In e-Banking, confidentiality is the most significant requirement of any transaction or meeting. Although it might multiplies the load on the networks by generating several identical data streams, we will increase the bandwitch to solve this problem. Video floor controlNormally there are only circuit video-hubs which are voice activated, but we have successfully designed the voice activated packet video-hubs. The video hubs will automatically switch the video floor based on the detected speaker. |
