because we will be going over that

a Balance sheet
Have students pull out Handout B from

from the worksheet to create a balance sheet
on Handout C. Have them work
with a
partner on their balance sheet, but remind
them that they both will need to complete
a balance sheet of their own, they will be
using each other as reference. Teacher
will
go around and make sure the students are on
task, and answering any questions they may
have. Refer them to page 187 to see an
example of a balance sheet. Remind
them
that debits must equal credits. 8. Introduction

skipped over this in Chapter 6, but we are
going to go back because ethics are very
important in the world of accounting.
Handout A will be used to answer the
questions about the ethics case. Have
students critical think about the scenario
remind them that there is no right or wrong
answer. Remind them that ethics can effect
a lot of people, or it can effect yourself.
It
is more like a way of morals, and only you
yourself can determine your own set of
ethics for yourself. Ethics
case will be used
as a discussion for the class and students
will fill out the sheet as we discuss each
