What Our Purpose Is

The following acrostic was designed to help keep in focus what is important to us for fulfilling our Purpose Statement



I - Interest - We have an interest in ALL People.

M - Member- We desire to bring people into membership at Immanuel by their profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their savior and Believer's Baptism.

M - Minister- We desire to help every member understand that they are a minister and that God has a wonderful plan for their life.

A - Affinity Groups- We desire to have every member involved in at least one affinity (small) group for the purpose of helping them grow into maturity as a believer.

N - New - We will do whatever it takes to reach people for Jesus, even if it means doing things we've never done before.

U - Uplifting -We desire our worship services to give people the uplift they need and offer worship services at various times throughout the week.

E - Everyone - Everyone is welcome at Immanuel and accepted unconditionally. We are all part of a big family, God's family, and we have great fellowship together.

L - Love - we desire to share God's love with each other, our community, and the world.
