Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Friday June 9 at 5:00pm through Saturday,
June 10 at 5:00pm. Taking place at the outdoor track at Mount
Wachusett Community College, Green Street, Gardner. Contact Ann or
Sue Cwartkowski at (978) 939-8986 to become a team member, or make a
donation to the team, or purchase a luminary candle in memory or in honor
of a loved one who has fought or is fighting cancer, or participate in the
survivor lap. Father Jack will walk with other cancer survivors at
6:00pm and also walk several more laps later in the evening. |

Strawberry Festival 2000 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church,
Winchendon. Friday June 9 through Sunday June 11 featuring a
spaghetti supper Friday at 6pm, Country Auction Saturday at 6pm, Family
Breakfast Sunday from 9:30-11:30am, plus raffles, games, entertainment,
food, and fellowship |

Jesus Weekend: An opportunity to commit ourselves to one hour per week of
adoration and prayer in the Blessed Marie Rivier Oratory (in Holy Rosary
Convent on Regan Street in Gardner). "Could you not watch one
hour with Me?"(Matthew 26:40). |
| 6/13-6/18: St.
Mary's Parish will conduct its 16th Annual Carnival on the grounds of St.
Mary's School, south & Charles Street in Ware, MA .Opening night will
be Country-Western Music and all remaining days will be Polka Music for
your dancing and listening pleasure. There will be games of skill &
chance, arts/crafts, rides, booths of many kids and delicious Polish &
American foods. Polka Mass on Saturday June 17th with the Eddie
Forman Orchestra. A chicken B-B-Q is scheduled for Sunday June 18 at
12 noon and 1:00 pm. By a raffle ticket and become eligible to win a grand
prize of $2,500 |

these two weekends to sign up for family photos (to be taken July 7 and 8
and August 4 and 5) After Mass each of these two weekends, members of our
Parish Directory Committee will assist us in making appointments for our
family photos. We are aiming for 100% participation |

meets at 1:00pm in our church parking lot to bike to Lake Dennison.
They should return about 5:00pm. |

We pray for all our fathers. May God continue to bless our living
fathers with His grace, love, and peace as they fulfill their awesome
vocation! May the Lord grant eternal peace to our deceased fathers! |
| 6/18: Youth Group
members are invited to the Mass of Thanksgiving for our new deacons at
10:30am and to the reception which will follow in our parish hall.
We congratulate Deacons Tam Bui, Tomasz Borkowski, and Thien Nguyen who
were ordained deacons by Auxiliary Bishop George Gueger Saturday morning,
June 3 in St. Paul's Cathedral,Worcester. May our Risen Lord fill
them with His Holy Spirit as they begin their diaconal ministry to God's
People! We shall celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving here Sunday, June 18 at
10:30am. Fr. Jack will preside. Deacon Tomasz Borkowsko and Deacon Thien
Nguyen will serve as deacons of the Mass. Deacon Tomasz will preach
the homily. Deacon Thien will give a meditation after communion on
the role of the deacon in the Church. |
