DESERT DRIVING COURSE

Adventure Services offers half-day and full day desert driving courses where we teach you how to handle a state of the art 4x4 in the sand dunes and wadis. During your course you will learn how to prepare your vehicle for sand driving, how to drive in the desert and how to confidently handle any difficulties encountered. At the end of the course you will possess a deep feeling of accomplishment that comes from meeting and conquering new challenges.

Both courses offer the same basic training package consisting of vehicles, instructors, water and soft drinks, and all necessary equipment. The half day course covers instruction and hands on application in sand driving, while the full day course starts with sand driving in the morning and after lunch, moves to the wadis for a different type of driving, ending with a cool swim in the mountain pools.

The course starts when we pick you up and move out to the desert. When we arrive on site, we start with an introduction to the vehicles, a short class on the desert environment, what equipment we use, and how to prepare your vehicle for offroad driving. After that we have a hands on class on recovery techniques and then we start with the driving. After a short lecture and demonstration, you get behind the wheel and start learning.
