ACCOUNTING FOR NON-ACCOUNTANTS

 

This is a special management program for non-CPA (Certified Public Accountant) executives and businessmen who wish to learn more, update, and enrich their knowledge on accounting principles, theories and processes.

Engineers, lawyers, government officials, businessmen and other non-CPA professionals, who are management and finance practitioners will benefit from this course.

Accounting for Non-Accountants provides the participants room for critical thinking skills development, and finance and management accounting exposures which will enable them to become independent thinkers, problem-solvers and decision makers. Being an innovative course for non-accountants, variety of teaching/learning strategies such as case studies and evaluations, multi-media   presentations and group dynamics will be used.

Accounting Graduates and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) who wish to refresh their knowledge and skills in this field are also invited to this innovative seminar.

 

STRATEGIC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE

 

This seminar will provide participants basic and advanced skills on the use and application of Microsoft Windows and other popular softwares. Participants will have the chance to familiarize themselves with Internet and its capabilities. Moreover, this seminar will lead the participants in the acquisition of management knowledge and perspective on the use of Information Technology.

In addition, participants will experience activities that will eliminate fear on the modern technical applications of computers. One of these is the disassembly and assembly of computers exercise where participants will gain knowledge and skills of the various components of a PC.

SITE is also designed to familiarize participants to Internet with concentrations on communication technologies such as emails and worldwide web. Intranet technology is also included in its program design.
