WolfSong

The Wolf's song rises to the pale blue moon
Another joins in when it hears the tune.

Over the mountains and over the plains
Another pack hear the harmonious strains.

It's beauty and fullness reaches the sky.
More wolves hear the song, so they join the cry.

The sky fills with oranges, reds and maroons
When night comes again they will again start the tune.

Shadow of the  Woods

In the shadows is an animal
It's eyes stair out of the trees

It's claws are sharp
It's paws are dark

It stands in the cool night breeze

It's tail is long
It's nose is strong

It's hunting for it's prey

It's beautiful
It's playful

It looks at you and walks away.

A Short Wolf Poem

Wolf
Strong, Playful, Gentle
Sly, Stealth
It's caring like a mother
Loyal, Wise
Pups

Grandmother

" Grandmother wolf why do you cry?
A tear is rolling down your cheek,
Is there something in your eye? "

" My dear little grand-daughter look around and you'll see why.
All is crying
We'll all soon die.

The birds have stopped singing
The trees are gone
Everyone sings a mournful song".

" Grandmother wolf why is everyone gone?
Why do mama and papa say we have to move on?"

" A new danger has entered the woods
It cuts down trees
It kills all the birds.

All must leave
Now hurry along
We don't want you parents to worry too long".

Forest

Tall trees
Cool spring breezes
Nice in hot weather

Dew drops
Shady spots
Cool in the summer

Red leaves
Multicolor trees
Bright in the fall

Winter winds
Snowy grounds
Very beautiful

Lake Side

Ripples in the water
Birds in the trees
Squirrels running all around
Buzzing of the bees

Clouds in the sky
Stars in the night
Sun in the day
 Ducks take to flight

Moose in the water
Days passing by
Night growing cold
Have to leave it  behind
