Some say Spells, Chants and Incantations are the Mother and Father of today's Christian Prayers. Indeed, both are Psychic Transmissions from our mortal selves to our perceived Spiritual Hierarchy & Deity's... When a Christian Prays for "Peace on Earth" they do no more than a Witch who Chants for the same. Spells may seem different in that they are often directed to manipulate earthly lives. You might like to do a Spell to help ensure success on your chosen path, or to attract a Soul Mate, maybe for better health or improved perception... All of these things can be affected by the power of Prayers, and Spells.

To make a Prayer Special, you may kneel, close your eyes, put your hands together and direct your psychic message to God. You may hold a Sacred Symbol or Charm, even go to a Holy Place. You might receive bread and wine or water, the "kuriakon" decked in flowers. As it was, & So it iS, with Spells... To achieve maximum effect, some effort is required to concentrate your Spiritual Energies. This may include the use of materials and other substances helping you to focus on the task, or desire in your mind and inturn, to aid the affect of the Spell in the real world.

Over the next few weeks, we will attempt to explain how to write your own dedicated Chants and Spells taking the time, to add reason and rhyme, avoiding loopholes thus preventing potentially dangerous energies materializing and creating bad, undirected vibrations in our sacred universe. Before Casting Spells, there are a few Golden Rules to follow. You must know and trust your motives before you start to SpellCast. Never SpellCast to harm someone, you will only harm yourself. You have now prepared your mind to accept devine guidence and are in a position of equality. It is important for you not to lower yourself to the sordid position of your adversary and refrain from initiating Curses and Black Magick. Words are audable statements of intent and as such are important ingredients to any Spell Castings. Choose your words carefully taking the time to incorporate reason and rhyme and Chant repeatedly whilst Casting your Protective Circle and Spell. A Pentacle in the form of a Necklace should be worn at all times. Protection will be enhanced by wearing additional Symbolic jewelery such as Finger/Thumb Rings, Ear-Rings, Wrist & Ankle Braclets, in fact, any adournment that has a Religious significance such as Crystals, Gems or fashioned metal, stone, wood or bone symbols of significance. Protect your home and work-places by Sprinkling a Circle of Blessed Salt and Water completely around the property. Consecration should take place under a Full Moon. ( Not too hot ) Stir with a Wand of Willow and Chant...
