Wesley and Magdelena are buried beside each other in the Catholic sectionof the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Wesley was a builder and built numeroushouses and business buildings in the area of Fulda and Redwood Falls,MN.
Wesley also built, what was considered at the time, the biggest house inRedwood Falls. It was sold in the early 1950's and became the FuneralHome in Redwood Falls. Wesley built the family lake cabin in 1930 on thenorth shore of Green Lake, Spicer, MN. The cabin is still in the familytoday (1999) and is owned by his three grandsons. Wes died at St.Mary's Hospital (Mayo Clinic) in Rochester, MN from complications due toa pituitary tumor in 1940. I (Wes's grandson, Richard George HARDYwriting) was told a story by a man sharing a room at the nursing homewith my Uncle Elton who worked for Wes, that Granny (Magdalena MAHALHARDY) , Roy, and Elton were with Wes at St. Mary's Hospital and therewas a ball game being played across the street. Wes told the family togo over to the ball game, and passed away while they were gone.
