Hat-Hor's mirror allows us to see ourselves as She sees us. Gazing into the mirror is always a learning experience. We have often flawed perceptions of ourselves, either as "nice", "good", "pretty", "ugly", or whatever, that could be very much in conflict with how this gentle Lady sees us. By calming our minds, calling upon Her and gazing into Her mirror we see the truth. Not always do we enjoy Her perception, but if it isn't what we find pleasant to look upon, then we know we have much work to do, don't we?

Hat-Hor is the Goddess from Whom all things flow abundantly. She is a loving Goddess, a provider, whether our need is material or emotional or spiritual, She is there, always just a thought away. She feeds our souls, waters our spirits and helps us to grow into the kind of beings that will have no problem when facing the Jackel and the Scales of Ma`at.

She is depicted as a cow Deity, feeding human kind. There are statues of Her in full cow form, or cowheaded, but always black horns surrounding a red disk. She is a lover of music, dance and laughter. Her domain is the household, the palace or the great outdoors. Wherever and whenever you think of Her, She is there.
