PTAH
God of Creation
It is said that Ptah thought Himself into existence. He spoke His own name aloud and WAS. Ptah then thought and brought forth Nun, who gave birth to Atum, Who was called "The thought of Ptah". Finally, He thought forth Tehuti, and was named "Ptah's Tongue" for it was He who gave all things their names.

He is depicted with a blue skullcap, in mummified form, with only His arms and hands free to hold His staff in front of him. His sceptor is usually a UAS staff with the DJED just under the head of the UAS. He also holds in His hand the ankh. These symbolizes domination, stability and life.
Ptah created the first, the greatest (yet to be found by mortal humans) pyramid. He is the Master Mason, He taught humankind how to build, freely giving parts of His knowledge (No God gives all of His or Her knowledge--not feasable). His is the symbol of modern day Masons.

To the south of Ptah's temple, a bull was kept, this bull (Hap) was considered to be the manifestation of Ptah. This bull was always chosen for special markings...black with white spots on his back and a a white triangle upon its forehead.
