Antelope Valley Unit

When we had our Roundup in May there were a number of other functions happening that weekend and a lot of you could not make it. We missed you all, but we had a great day anyway. Everyone that did not come missed some very good seminars and a great deep pit barbeque. I want to thank everyone that gave their time and effort very much for putting on a good and informative Roundup.

I was not able to attend the cattle drive on Saturday, June 3rd (thank goodness). We had a good turnout of riders from our unit. There were too many to name them all, but according to Vance Kirkpatrick and Bob Pearce it was a joke! I did not go to the Rodeo, but I have talked to a number of people about it and one said it was good and one said it was not so good, so it's a toss up.

As you noticed, I said that I did not go to the cattle drive or the Rodeo. I lead a boring life. Til next time . . .
