Trail Rides Report by Sherrie Tuck

April 16th was the Wildflower Ride. It was three hours long, covered 8 miles and was in the Kings Canyon area -- over the hills and down into the canyon. Thirteen riders participated. Lunch was eaten at the bottom of the canyon. There were lots of lupine and poppies. It was a very beautiful day with no wind, and great views. Everybody had a great time.

On May 20th the ride will be from Lower to Upper Shake to the Fire Road, around the Fire Road and back down. It is also a lunch ride. And please, again, call Sherrie to confirm and for more details!

The June Ride was/is June 11, -- a Maintenance Ride in Bouquet Canyon --which is while the Newsletter is being assembled & mailed.

July 1 - 4 will be the Quaking Aspen Campout & Ride. Call Sherrie for details and to make reservations.

August will be another Trail Maintenance Ride. Call Marcy or Sherrie for details and to let us know who's coming.

September -- the Labor Day Weekend Ride will be at the Jamboree. I don't have any information yet, but hope to have location, times, price, etc. to announce at our July meeting. If anybody receives any info, please let me know ASAP.

REMINDER for Montana De Oro Ride: It will be October 27, 28, 29. Pay by the September meeting or your reservation will be dropped! It is $12.50 per horse; you pay for any dogs at the Camp. NO LOOSE DOGS ARE ALLOWED!! More details at our meeting July 26th.
