A BRIEF EXPLANATION: If you wondering what Mad Phat Wrestling is, this probably won't help you, but, then again, if you think like us, it just might. Mr. Webster defines "mad" as: "1. suffering from a disorder of the mind; insane. 2. temporarily or apparently deranged by violent sensations, emotions or ideas. 3. feeling or showing strong liking or enthusiasm. 4. angry; resentful. 5. lacking restraint or reason; foolish. 6. marked by extreme excitement, confusion or agitation; frantic. 7. affected by rabies; rabid." The common slang defininition of "Phat" is: being "good, desirable or in good taste". Put it all together, and you can basically come up with your own assumptions. What we do is obsess on the lighter side of professional wrestling (i.e., what the characters are wearing, if their hair looks funny, if they have a wet spot on their wrestling panties, bloopers and blunders, etc.). Most people call that satire. We have a deep love of professional wrestling, and take every opportunity to put professional wrestling in perspective. There are wrestling fans out there who deify professional wrestlers, they turn them into gods in their twisted minds. We are performing a public service, we're helping those people out. Anyone who does not deify wrestlers may actually chuckle. OUR INFLUENCES: Some of the things that twisted us into the freaks we are today (including people, movies, tv shows, etc.) are: having bad upbringings, being punks/goths in the early 80s, Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Both Joel and Mike era), Howard Stern, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, 70s & 80s sitcoms, Tom Green, The Jerk, The Blues Brothers, Waynes World, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, I Love Lucy, Austin Powers, Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, or any Kevin Smith movie, Jay & Silent Bob, Dumb & Dumber, Search for One-Eyed Jimmy, anything Danzig has ever done, Hong Kong Movies, The Roseanne Show, Dragonball Z, Ranma 1/2, Bostin & Chokee's roadtrips, Living in New York City, stupid people, Monty Python, Talk Soup (Greg Kinnear & John Henson era), 80s hair metal, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Pee-Wee Herman, Adam Sandler, food, NYC Cab Drivers, Tae Bo, nature programs, Volcano, poopie sounds, Alice in Chains, Golden Throats, 6 Flags over Great Adventure, Hershey Park, Lancaster Pennsylvania, The Amish and their food, MTV's Loveline, therapy, Wrestling (of course!), Wrestling in the 80s, Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling... One last, last thing. If any professional wrestlers (specifically the ones mentioned in this site) actually find themselves here, we would like to say one thing: DON'T HURT US! WE'RE GIRLS, AND WE BREAK (AND CRY) EASILY. So, unless you want a bawling, broken mess on your hands, just leave us alone!
