Zambeef is one of the
largest chicken producers in Zambia. All its chicken houses are
situated at Huntley Farm in Chisamba. The chickens are reared in
modern automated houses and approximately 25,000 birds per week are
produced. All the chickens are slaughtered at the chicken abattoir at
Huntley Farm and are sold under the brand name ZAMCHICK. The
outstanding reputation enjoyed by Zamchick has resulted in the company
being unable to keep up with demand. As a result Zambeef is in the
process of commissioning new chicken houses and hopes to double its
production in the next year.

has a wholly owned subsidiary called Zamleather Limited which operates
a tannery in Lusaka. |
