Origin: "I grew up pretty normally I guess. At least until my brother freaked out. When I was twelve some guys in funky costumes came to our front door and told my parents that Chuck was a mutie and was very dangerous and had been busted in a robbery of a chemical plant. They explained that Chuck was actually a supervillain called Cougar. Well Chuck always was kind of the rotten apple and never got along with our parents, he got kicked out of the house when he was sixteen because they couldn't control him anymore. I guess Chuck really hated my dad because one day when I was fifteen Chuck came home and threatened to kill him. In front of our eyes Chuck turned into a man-cat and attacked dad. I freaked out and a weird sensation came over me. I began to change into the same kind of creature Chuck had become. I leapt at Chuck and we started fighting. Suddenly from out of nowhere Wildcat appeared and Chuck took off. Wildcat sat me down and explained that like he and my brother I was a mutant. He started preaching a little then, talking about power and responsibility. He suggested that I keep my powers secret until I learned how to use them properly. I graduated high school and decided to move out to California to pursue a career in music. Wildcat brought me a present soon after I came to Cali, a pair of claws he said no cat should be without. So then I had the gear it was time to let the world meet Panther."

Personality: Panther is cocky and often reckless at least where his own safety is considered. Beneath his brash exterior he is a caring and gentle person. Through his life his kindness was often overshadowed by his brothers viciousness. He made up for it by trying the craziest and most reckless antics he could. This has carried over and he is now very much addicted to the adrenaline rush. He battles often with his short temper and tendency to be somewhat cynical but is normally a lot of fun to be around.

Appearance: Panther's face has distinctly feline features complete with vertical pupils and whiskers. His entire body is covered in a short charcoal gray fur, the hair on his head is black and very long. His body is human looking except for the fur and is very muscular.

Quote: "You're either very brave or very stupid…Either way you're meat!"

Tactics: Panther is a savage fighter but is by no means stupid. His first priority is keeping innocents from harm. After which he will fling himself into the battle in a nearly bezerk like frenzy. He will usually try to take on the leader or the one giving the orders, figuring that if you take out the head the body will fall. Panther does not hesitate to use his killing attack, to do so may mean his life. He won't however use the claws on someone that he feels isn't a threat to him (i.e. many agents, normals etc.).
