IndentPranking is an integral part of a Malkavians life, and weather or not we like it, we receive status for how effect our pranks tend to be. Thus a system had to be created to rank Malkavians according to their pranking ability.

IndentSo the pranking points system was created. To earn points in this system you must submit pranks (see "House Contests" for details) to Xenor (House Leader). The prank is then scored out of one hundred and depending on your previous result added to or subtracted from you current prank point total. This is figured out in the following manner.

• The score for your first submitted prank simply becomes you pranking points score.
  
  
• If the score for your most recent prank is higher than the score of your previous prank the difference is added to your pranking point total.
  
  
• If, however, the score for your most recent prank is lower than the score of your previous prank the difference is subtracted from your current pranking point total.
  
  
• If the score for your most recent prank is equal to that of your previous prank your current pranking point total is unaffected.

IndentThis forces you to continuously try to improve you pranks, otherwise you will loose pranking points or stay on the same amount (something none of use wish to do).

IndentYour pranking rank depends on how many prank points you have. Be aware if you make it to a higher pranking rank and then loose pranking points, so that you no longer have the rank prerequisite, your rank will reflect this. The ranks are as follows.

Fool - Pranks are often pallid and ineffective

"I hit him with a fish and run screaming into the night."

To attain this rank you must attempt at least one prank. It doesn't matter how pathetic it is, one prank and you're a fool.





Maniac - Violent pranking with devastating results

"I put the match on the door so that when he opens it the dynamite stick will be lit and blow up his haven."

To attain this rank you must have at least 150 prank points.





Madman - Clever and precise due to insight

"I put the match on the door so that when he opens it the mouse tail will be burnt making it run around in it's wheel, powering the tapeplayer with ticking noises in his drawer. When the drawer is opened it causes the decapitated head of his childer to fall at his feet, causing the dental floss wrapped around it's teeth to pull the cord that turns on the neon sign that says so and so's secret haven is here."

To attain this rank you must have at least 450 pranking points.





Lunatic - Incomprehensibly ingenious pranks with life altering effects

"I talk to the prince about the current state of affairs in the banking industry lately, and move the conversation towards the cost of stock in the cattle yards with interest in the.....(two hours later) thereby marking the Nosferatu as a diabolist and to be hunted down in this city for ever more."

To attain the rank you must have at least 1000 pranking points.





Fool - Pranks often pallid and ineffective

"I put a kick me sign on his back." Not that i'm saying this is a bad prank. A well placed kick me sign has huge potential. In fact some fools have been elevated to lunatics by their peers due to the fall out from a kick me sign on the right back. They had no idea that what happened would happen but it's assumed that they had some kind of insight be it influence from the network or not.

This rank is a mysterious one. Once your have 2000 pranking points you attain the rank. Why is its name fool as well? Because your pranks are the same as a fool. But have the results, and/or side effects equivalent to that of a lunatic.



IndentYou will, of course, be informed about the score of your last prank, your current pranking point total and weather or not you are going to be promoted. Promotions will be an important event held on the Malkavian Madness Network.
