Lou MAGYAR clinched
the Rookie Championship in Mexico to join Steven SKANE
Andreas WILKE and
Steven WHITTY as the 1999 FORMULA ADELAIDE Champions.
Mexico saw the
World Champions take out their respective division Grand Prix's with
clear wins from
pole position and the fastest race lap in the process.
Undoubtedly, the
driver of the season was Andreas WILKE in the Intermediate
Class, with
his commanding
display and incredible lap times. Steven SKANE fought out a
season long
battle with
consistent fast finishers Florent LAMBERT and Ian ROBERTSON.
Steven WHITTY
controlled the
latter half of the season to take out the grueling Pro-Long Class from close
rival
Ross COLLISON.
Lou MAGYAR maintained his persistence and perseverance to narrowly
take the Rookie
Class from main contender Lynn FLOWERS, right at the final
race..!!

in the Toad Hall Racing Lotus clinched the Novice Championship with a solid
third place at
Watkins-Glen. Ian ROBERTSON in the Eagle taking the win from
Florent LAMBERT.
Intermediate
Champion Andreas WILKE took the win beating Pitman LEE
and Raymond GEERING
next home.
Steven WHITTY
clinched the Pro-Long Championship in the Road Hog Motorsports Brabham.

Andreas WILKE -
Lotus/Fast 'N' Bulbous clinched the Intermediate Class Title with his
second place in
Monza. Andreas becomes the First ever Formula Adelaide World
Champion.
After taking pole
and fastest lap in the race, he was only prevented from a clean sweep by
the
brilliant race win
of Pitman LEE in his Ferrari at its home soil.
Steven SKANE took
another race win in the Novice Class, narrowly ahead of Swedish sensation
Ingemar FALK with
the flying frog..Florent Lambert in third.
Steven WHITTY took
a one point lead in the Pro Class Championship with a very deserved
win at Monza. Looks
like this class will go down to the wire..!!!!
