Thank you for wanting to get to know me. I worked on this site for a while. Nervous that know one would even look at it. But I overcame my fears and decided to do it anyway. It took about three weeks to put it all together and I hope to spend alot more time putting in all of the stories, poems, ideas, recipes, links and other information that you all have decided to share.
My name is Brenda. I am a 35 year old housewife with seven children. Five of them belong to me and two belong to my husband. Their ages are four, seven, eight, ten, twelve, twelve and eighteen. Three boys and four girls. I have no complaints about my children, I am very proud of all of them.
My husband and I met in 1997 and we got married in 1998. All of our Children participated in our wedding which was held at the Lutheran Church in my hometown. My husbands father was his best man. It was a small but very nice wedding. We celebrated our anniversary on July 11th.
I love to do all sorts of things, but mainly I love spending time with my family.
I crochet, knit, cross stitch and sew. I love to take walks in the woods. I think my favorite time of year is fall. Atleast it is when I'm in Pennsylvania. Summer is great, but there is something about the chill in the air and knowing that the holidays are coming up that gets me all excited about life. I like reading scary books. Dean Koontz and Stephen King are probobly my favorites. My favorite magazines would probobly have to be Coastal Living and O. My favorite colors are brown and green. I like chocolate alot. My favorite candy bar is a reeses. I love pasta, chili, broccoli, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a good steak. One of my all time favorite movies would have to be....The Green Mile. Probobly because it always kept you unaware of what it was really about. I don't like movies that don't keep you in suspence. My favorite TV shows are off the air. My all time favorite was Second Noah. Now I would have to say it's Dharma and Greg. I always tell my husband that I want to grow up to be like Dharma. She is so free spirited. Favorite Web Site? I'm still looking.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Mark Twain
Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.
My favorite person would have to be my husband. The person I think encouraged me the most would have to be a teacher I had in elementary school and of course my husband. He is the greatest.
I will put a photo of my family in here when I convince my family to let me do it.
Well enough about me. I hope you enjoy the site.
Sincerely,
Brenda
