My E-mail Went Where

I sent an E-mail into space

It disappeared without a trace.

I wondered where my E-mail went.

So, I called my ISP to vent.

They asked me if it was hyper-text?

"No," I said, "But I'm hyper-vexed."

Suppose it was sent overseas?

It may have gone to the Chinese.

Did a German grab its tail?

"Guten Morgen! Sie gott mail!"

Did I type the address wrong?

Was it com.dot....or dot.com?

Since my mail did not arrive,

Do you suppose it's still alive?

Is it fighting for a place,

On the Avenue of Space?

I shot a thought into the air,

It fell to earth, I knew not where.

For who knows the internet so well,

That they can fathom the flight of E-mail.

Welcome to the little corner of our site that brings people together.

Here you can browse through the names of other people, read what their interests are, and become their pen pal. If this section works out we will be adding a chat room as well. So give us your input and tell us what you think.

Below you will see a list of catagories to get us started. If you are interested in something that you don't see listed here, let us know so that we can add it.

There are a few rules that we have decided to use, they are as follows.

You will not be able to gain access to the room where the other names are listed unless you decide to put your name in as well. When you send us the information we need for you to join in on the fun, we will e-mail you a password that will allow you to gain access to all the pages within the E-mail Pen Pals section. When you are given the password please do not give it to anyone that is not in the E-mail Pen Pals. This will cause me to have to shut it down, and I don't want to do this.

When you fill out the form provided below you will see a space that asks for your

e-mail address. I am asking for this so I can verify it as being a true address, and so that I can e-mail you the password. When your name is listed it is totally up to you if we provide a direct link to your e-mail. If you would rather be contacted through us about interested parties, that is fine.

If you come across a name that does not have a direct link and you would like to get in touch with that person, there is a form to fill out so that we can put you in touch with them. It will be placed directly under the list of names. When we recieve it, we will forward your e-mail address to them along with your interests. I hope it works out okay. I haven't thought of another way to do it. If you feel that you could suggest something else, please do so. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
