  What it is

RTETRIS is a text mode Tetris-alike game. Blocks fall out of the sky, your task is to arrange them so they make complete lines. These complete lines are removed and counted as score.

  How it works

The RTETRIS.ZIP distribution package contains 2 files:

        RTETRIS.EXE      the actual program
        RTETRIS.TXT      this document

You start the game by typing RTETRIS.

  Installation

Create a subdirectory in the directory where you keep your games.
  MD C:\GAMES\RTETRIS

Copy the RTETRIS.ZIP to the directory.
  XCOPY RTETRIS.ZIP C:\GAMES\RTETRIS\

Goto directory and unzip the archive.
  CD C:\GAMES\RTETRIS
  PKUNZIP RTETRIS.ZIP

You now can execute the program.
  RTETRIS

  Hints

If you're an impatient person, you can try violently tapping of space if you don't want to wait for the 'welcome screen' and the 'exit screen' to disappear. If you've really had enough of the game and want to quit the game immediately, not from the menu, you can hit the ESC key or power down the computer.

The game also runs in Window'ed DOS boxes, in Windows you can run several copy's of the same program simultaneously. So you can play several copy's of the game, switching between the windows to make moves.
