C.J.Split's Hot Sauce | home
I enjoy growing my own hot peppers. Some for my hot sauce,
and some just for ornamental reasons.
Peppers are not only good as a food,
but they can also add nice accent in your garden,
especially the more exotic varieties.
Now if you plan on growing peppers by seed in the north
you need to understand one thing...they need a
head start six to eight weeks before you plant them.
Northern growing seasons are short and a little help
indoors will almost guarantee that you see
results from your plants before they die off in the fall.
I have put together some information for you on
how I grow my pepper seedlings. In fact this week
I put some seeds up. March is usually
the time I start my pepper seedlings.
These tips can also be applied to many
garden variety seeds that may need an extra
boost indoors before planting after last frost.
