C.J.Split's Hot Sauce | home
There are two things that a seed needs in order to germinate.
Heat and Moisture.
One way to provide this is with what I call a Germination Chamber.
It is simply a framed box surrounded by plastic
with a small heat source.
closed open
What this does is contains and maintains a constant
temperature of 80 degrees for the seed.
After only 3 to 4 days the first signs of
growth will be observed. Basically we are fooling
the seed into believing that it is time to grow.
Inside I use a simple space heater with a pan of
water on top for humidity.
But be careful if you decide to do this--
electricity and water do not mix!!!
