Using a wet stick or a wet knife I can pick up individual
seeds and place them into separate cells.
The cell tray on the right is called a 520.  Meaning
there are 520 separate cells-- seedlings in these cells
need to be transplanted earlier than the ones on
the left because their roots quickly fill up the smaller space.
They may help you save space but only for
a few weeks so plan accordingly if you decide to try these trays.

After each cell has recieved a seed.  I then cover the
seed with about 1/4 inch of mix and spray thouroughly
with water.  A little settling of the soil is desired- so
later when you water your seedlings it will
stay in the cell and get to the plant and not run off.
