The BOSTON UNIVERSITY
BALLROOM DANCE CLUB

And now, a trio of shots from Bacchanalia '98--

On the left, Ilan, Dave, Bhak, Fort & Me pay homage to a certain Boston-based Boy Band, while on the right, Suzette, Agnieszka, Ali, Janice Markey & Amanda exercise a little Girl Power.  It's a long story.

Ahh, the Samba formation.  Twelve people dancing to Ricky Martin's "La Bomba" on a tiny little stage.  All we wanted to do was survive.  We did great.

So are you wondering where they are?  Well, the truth is, I wasn't even going to compete this time around.  I changed my mind (Thank God) and decided to do it for fun.  It worked-- I had a ball, and here's big reason for it: my muse, Mary Patire.

Some great times.  And yeah, you're seeing right in that smaller pic-- Standard and Smooth.  She made me do it-- made me break out the old bow tie & cummerbund.  Thank goodness.

One hell of a few months, I've got to say.  I had the time of my life, and if I never step foot on a comp floor again, this is exactly how I want to go out.  But if you think I'm hangin' up those Latin heels, you're nuts.
