Perhaps
the fiercest warrior of the X-Men, Wolverine is haunted by a mysterious
past. Logan's skeleton seems to be laced with a super-strong metal, which
also forms his trademark razor-sharp claws. Extending a foot from beneath
his forearms, the claws can seemingly slice through anything. His constant
struggle to come to terms with his own feral nature is a sharp reflection
of the conflict all mutants face in dealing with their abilities. 
Homo Sapien Hugh Jackman, who portrays Wolverine, has appeared in several
movies and on TV in his native Australia.
