Can you beat the weapons in FFVII ??? heheheh for all of you never notice these enemies I suggest you played once more, and for you who think that these monster could not be beaten well you're very very wrong, and I'm glad that you're reading this page it's mean that you choose to fight Emerald and Ruby as any true ff7 gamer would, these super bosses will have you go a few hours out of your way to raise your materia and power up, but its worth it! For me to beat the Emerald Took almost one Hour Fight!!!, and For Ruby it took about half hours Fight!!! As far as I know there are five weapons in FFVII , Onyx, the Ruby, emerald, ultima, and Diamond.

Diamond Weapon

Diamond weapon was the weapon which was pop out from the sea and you have to stop it before it Destroyed Midgar City. I think you can beat this weapon after all the "Sister Ray" cannon help you the get rid of Diamond. so It will be no problem.

Ultima Weapon

This weapon hang out at the big lake near the midgar at the first time (before you choose to get near it but if you already fight with it and not succeed then it will move around) I think there was no specific way or item to beat Ultima but the only thing you have to keep in mind if you HP was below than 9000 or 9999 before Ultima died will use counter attack "Shadow Flare" it definitely Kill cloud if cloud is in you party. (at least that's was my experience). and after you beat Ultima you'll get Cloud ultimate Sword which named Ultima Sword.

Ruby and Emerald Weapon

Well well this two guy as not as easy beaten like the two guys before, I warn you this guys are difficult, umm sorry it thinks it's the most difficult enemies to be beaten, compare to sephiroth ?? naaa he's a piece of cake compared to these guys At the first time I think it's impossible to beat them even my HP already 9999 but when I combined all specific materia that I will list here I succeed to beat them. And one more thing I HAVE TO WARN YOU AGAIN, THESE GUYS HAVE HP 1,000,000 (one million) EACH !!!!! So don't be dissapointed If you loose Keep on trying. I think there was no exact way to defeat them It's depend on how you want to fight them so I'll not give you the exact way to defeat them ok ?? If you ask between this two guy which one was harder for me, Then I would answer same !! but in my case I fought Emerald First then I got 3 master materia which were Master Magic Materia, Master Summon Materia, Master Command Materia. So when I beat Ruby I already have these 3 Master Materia

Emerald Weapon (The Emerald Weapon located at underwater Use submarine to fight him)

Before fight please I suggest you already have this equipment
1. Mystile armor
2. Enhanced sword or ultima weapon (all character must using their best weapons)
3. Enough Turbo ether or elixir
4. HP Absorb materia link with Knight Of The Round materia (Must minimum AP level three)
5. Mime Materia (I suggest you have three or two of them)
6. W-Summon materia
7. Quadra magic materia linked with Ultima magic materia
8. Magic Plus Materia, one at master level the others level two (I suggest the three party must equipped this materia)
9. Final Attack Materia (AP level, 2 minimum) Linked with Phoenix materia (AP level 3 minimum)
10. Enough level (to put cloud and his party above 9000 HP and 900 MP) of HP Plus and MP Plus materia.
11. Enemy Skill materia, Use Big Guard skill
12. Sprint Shoes (I suggest have two of them).
13. Underwater Materia that you can get from the guy at Kalm (Morph the Ghost Ship enemy to get the Guidebook and exchange it for the underwater materia)
14. Full Cure Materia and Restore Materia to cast "Regen Magic"
15. W-magic materia link with Bahamut Zero Materia
16. Neo Bahamut Materia (optional you can use it or not)

Remember never use, others materia like Magic materia (Ice, Fire, Gravity, Poison etc). It was NO USE TO EMERALD !!! REMOVE ALL OF THEM !!

Equipping everyone (In my party :Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie)

Cloud

Equipped Cloud With :
1. Mystile armor
2. Enhanced Sword
3. HP Absorb materia link with Knight Of The Round materia (K.O.R) (Must minimum AP level 2 or three)
4. Quadra magic materia linked with Ultima magic materia
5. Magic Plus Materia
6. Sprint Shoes
7. Underwater materia.
8. HP and MP plus materia

Tifa

Equipped Tifa With :
1. Her Best weapon, "Premium Heart"
2. Mime Materia, so when cloud casting Knight Of The Round Summon tifa will mime it
3. Magic Plus
4. HP and MP plus
5. Sprint Shoes
7. Enemy skill materia, Use it to cast Big Guard
8. Final Attack Materia (AP level, 2 minimum) Linked with Phoenix materia (AP level 3 minimum)

Yuffie

Equipped Yuffie With :
1. Full Cure Materia
2. Her Best Weapon, Confromer
3. Magic Plus
4. HP Plus and MP Plus
5. Bahamut ZERO Materia (Level 3 or master level)
6. Mime Materia

Fighting

In fighting I will not give you the exact way to defeat the weapon, so I only give you the clue and important step. Usually at the first time Emerald will attack you first (Usually in my case Cloud). After the attack if tifa turn (In my case was Tifa turn) cast the "Big Guard" Spell. After that If cloud turn, Cast the KOR with W-summon remember you don't have to linked W-Summon materia with KOR materia so linked KOR materia with HP absorb so you'll get more benefit if you do that you will get 2 times KOR attack and 2 times HP absorb for you. and then get Yuffie to mime it (again in my case it's yuffie turn) Yuffie will mime it 2 times too so you already attack with KOR four times and after yuffie done get cloud cast the KOR again 2 times and when tifa's turn get tifa to mime it and do like that untile emerelad get angry and cut off your turn. Becareful when emerald cut off your turn usually He use "Air Storm" but don't worry if you already have phoenix materia you will raise up again

Ruby Weapon
(found in the desert at gold saucer you can see his little head poking out late in disc ( I think ). Just crash into him with highwind to pick a fight with him)

Before fight please I suggest you already have this equipment
1. Mystile armor
2. Enhance Sword or Ultimate Weapon (Everyone use the best weapon their had)
3. Ribbon (I suggest you have 2)
4. HP Absorb linked with Knights of the Round (KOR)
5. W-Summon
6. Mime (I suggest you have 2)
7. Quadra Magic linked with Bahamut ZERO
8. Magic Plus (All Party use the magic plus materia)
9. Final Attack linked with Live (not Phonix; it will cure Ruby)
10. Enough HP and MP Plus' to put Cloud at 9999 HP and 999 MP
11. Enemy Skill with Big Guard
12. Sprint Shoes
13. W-magic Linked with ultima (just to provoke the ruby to make it's tentacle out, it's optional) 14. 2 Master Materia (Master Magic, Master Summon, These were optional If you choose to fight ruby first you wouldn't have these master materia. In my case I fought Emerald First so I get these Master Materia)


Equipping everyone (In my party :Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie)

Equip Cloud with the Mystile armor, Enhance Sword or Ultimate Weapon and Ribbon. Now for equipping him with Materia. Equip him with the HP Absorb linked with Knights of the Round, Magic Plus (make sure you have about 220-250 magic power), W-Summon, Mimic, Quadra Magic linked with Bahamut ZERO and Final Attack linked with Phoenix (this is just a precaution). Use whatever slots you have left with HP and MP Plus'. Cloud is going to be the only character you are going to use. Next, equip another member of your party with the Sprint Shoes and the Enemy Skill. The last member is going to have no use in this battle. You might want to have Turbo Ethers or Elixirs around just in case. and the other character for me It's Yuffie and Tifa equipped them with Master Magic and Master Summon (again in my case I've already beaten Emerald, and just for precaution if cloud sucked down by Ruby), and equipped them with all that's left it's up to you cuz you will only fight using cloud alone later.

Fighting

Start off the battle by having the person with the Big Guard Enemy Skill cast Big Guard. Make sure you do this very fast and before anything or anybody has a chance to do anything. This will help Cloud a lot. Make sure that you save the game before the battle because the Ruby Weapon might suck Cloud in, but don't worry, just keep doing the battle until Cloud isn't sucked down. Right after Big Guard is cast have Cloud cast Bahamut ZERO with W-summon. This may or may not do any damage, its just to provoke Ruby Weapon to stick is tentacles out behind you. It does not matter if you other members get sucked down, just so long as Cloud is alive. When you see his tentacles behind you cast W-Summon Knights of the Round (if your running low on MP use an Elixir or Turbo Ether.) at the tentacles, (it wont be cast two times if its at level one but it doesn't matter, the main thing is killing the tentacles) this will kill them thanks to the high magic power you have due to the Magic Plus materia. Plus you will get healed because of the HP Absorb. Now just mimic every turn and Knights of the Round will be cast twice even though it could only be cast once before! And because you are mimicking it won't cost any MP! Just keep doing this each turn and you will eventually kill him. He might try to use Comet2 and other spells but thanks to the Mystile armor it will usually miss. When you beat him you get the Dessert Rose.

Prize

You'll get your reward after Defeating them. What You'll get are :
Emerald:
You will get Earth Harp then go to the Kalm traveler at kalm village exchange it and You will get 3 Master Materia (Master Magic, Master Summon, Master Command) These three master materia Were verry usefull for master magic you can cast any kind of magic you want, for the Master Summon too you can cast any kind and any time (2 times ?, 3 times ??, Unlimited !!!) you want and what summon you want.
Ruby:
Maybe you'll be little disapointed, Cuz ruby will give you "Desert Rose" and you must exchange it to kalm traveler and you'll get Gold Chocobo which is also known as Sea Chocobo
