Civilization: Call To Power (aka CTP) is a turn-based strategy game made by Activision. In CTP you first start with a settler, build a city with it, then build Units, City Improvements, or Wonders of the World. You also compete with up to 30 opponents, either human or computer, and can exchange technology or maps with them, demand that they give you their tech, maps, gold, or you can make other demands such as: "Attack enemy _____","Stop trading with _____"," Reduce Pollution", etc. If you have played other Civ games before, you will recognise many similarities between CTP and Civ2, but there are also some really cool things in this game that weren't in Civ2. For example, instead of using your settlers to build roads, mines, etc. you take a little production from each of your cities, convert it to something called "Public Works" (PW) and use it to buy roads, mines, farms, etc. Also, you can build cities in space and underwater, and because the timeline of the game goes so far into the future, you get a bunch of really cool futuristic units. The game is VERY LONG, but if you have the time, like Turn-Based Strategy games, and have a good computer, you will probably love this game.
This site contains all kinds of stuff related to CTP, including information on the different Units, Wonders, City Improvements, etc. as well as Downloads, Scenarios (when there are some good ones), and links to other CTP sites.

IMPORTANT NOTE: (10/01/01) I haven't played the game in a while, nor have I updated the site. I probably never will do any more work on it, but it will stay online for anyone who needs it. I have removed/modified a few pages (got rid of the files section and the message board). Also I got a request from someone a while back to link to me and include my site in a CTP clan or something (sorry-don't remember all of it). If anyone wants to link to anything on this site, go ahead-you don't have to give me credit or anything. Just remember that most of the screenshots are from Apolyton Civilization Site-CTP Section so you should ask permission from their webmaster before you use them. All my site's code was made by me and is completely free public domain, meaning that you can take it all and put it in your site if you want, I don't care. Well that's about it; thanx for visiting my site! I hope you find something here you like/want/need.
