League Start Date Set
Word is that league will be starting on the 29th of this month, January. That is of course if everything goes without a hitch until then. Lets cross our fingers, unless your squad needs a few more weekends for practice :P

WoW! An Update!
This is just an update cause the site hasn't been updated lately. Well, there were a few practice matches this past weekend. I'm not sure on all the ones that took place, but I have the results from two of them. First match was Protection taking on R.I.P. According to Dozey of Protection, Protection won the match by about 8:1. I didn't get the exact numbers but the scores I recieved was about 4800000 points for Protection and about 600000 points for R.I.P. Looks like Protection is still kickin it. Is their strategy unbeatable? Who knows. We'll have to wait and see if any squad out there can over come Pro's strategy. The other match was Psi-Legion taking on Redhawks. I don't have the scores from it but it was a decent match between the two of them. Hawks, at the end, took the win. You can see the stats and a few screenshots from this match at Legions Site. Thanks to Enigma for putting up the results.
Well, the new server is coming along hopefully soon. I still see alot of complaining about lag. Lets just hope this server comes very soon and it solves this lag issue. I personally thank all those that donated their spare money to recieve this new server.
Well, the zone has changed a bit. We now have repels and burst back in the zone. Although, I think the burst should be incresed in damage wise cause it doesn't do much to me. I'll see about getting a few interviews about these new settings and see how everyone else feels about these. If you have read the latest news to DSB, you will find out that BLaZZiN and Pyro are no longer smods. In replace of these two, Enigma42 and myself(Heart Break Kid) have been hired as the new smods.
From what I understand, DSB League should be starting sometime in the middle of December if everything goes well. So those who are needing the practice, you had better start scheduling practice matches soon as you captains can. I think that is all for now, but before I close this update up, just a little information for those who are wondering. The DSB Msg Board is down for those who don't know. It is currently being updated. So on behalf of the DSB Staff, I apologize for this being down. It should be back up soon. Well, that's all for now.

League Finals - Winners
Well after a few days I decided to stop being so lazy and tell who won the final match.
=P
The final match wasn't quite as thrilling as I would have hoped. Wraith Squadron showed up with 11 members while Protection had near 15 or so, so Wraith had to play down one player. Scores for halftime were Wraith Squadron - 779555 points
216 / 250 w/l and 16 flags. Protections Halftime stats were 1900104 points 251 / 215 w/l 84 flags.
The second half looked more eventful, but still Protection was just too strong for Wraith to overcome. The Final stats for the match were Protection over Wraith, 1828863 to 3367840.
In the Runner's up match it was Danger over Redhawks although I don't know the final scores...
Discription Updates
I'll be updating the discriptions for the squads since most are out of date. I still don't know the URLs for a few squads but... ah well...
Infantry Zone Beta
Well Infantry Zone came out a few days ago (downloadable at their website, WwW.infantryzone.CoM). Except for all the no data's and server recycles it's a pretty nice game. They're still working out many bugs so the connection to the game wont be 100% and could go down at any time. The upside, however, is that ping times (for those in the US anyway) should be lower. I know my ping is half of what it normally is in DSB. The Beta Test arena is basically a flagging game, with 100 people per zone and about 12 or so people to a team it makes for quite an action packed game. When one team gets all the flags, I think there's about five of them, they pick up the win and the game starts over again. It really is worth the try, all of us DSB zone people usually make our own team and learn how to play together, we also have a chatroom although it's getting rather full as of late.
