A small, light skinned, dark curly haired halfling, with a quick grin and a mischievous twinkle in my eye. I'll be wearing all brown leathers.
Arimansis was born in the Witchwood to, naturally enough, a witch. His father is unknown, even to himself, although to those who know his real identity, he puts it about that it was a demon. This may, in fact, be true, although it is unlikely. Ever since reaching his full powers, it has been Arimansis' goal in life to become a god. To this end, he has constructed the Dungeon of Sephiroth to collect enough power to make himself into one. Being a necromancer, most of his followers will be the undead, and indeed, he already has himself one, the lich Ragamanabobithassis. His plan is to achieve godhood, haul in a bunch of followers by appearing very powerful and granting wishes left right and centre. Once he has a full congregation in his temple at the very entrance to the dungeon, his skeleton guards will emerge from hiding (skeletons are very good as guards, but useless as followers, their hearts just don't seem to be in it, and their minds are always elsewhere) and heard the congregation down the secret chute leading to the centre of power. There all the congregation will be turned into undead followers. At the moment, Arimansis is still building up his supply of skeleton guards, and gathering enough power to be a god. Every adventurer he kills gives him more power, and one more skeleton. The more powerful the adventurer, the more power. Therefore, he tries to lure the best and the brightest heroes from all over the world, although not too many at a time, as this would probably upset his dungeon. There are others who will follow him. He makes orcs in his workshops, and there is a city full of gnomes under his protection. They will also make loyal (and alive) followers. |
