This is the yellow Chocobo. Famous color in almost every Final Fantasy game. Specifically in FF7 this Chocobo is just used to get around; and only on grassy plains. But great to get around somewhere fast without battling.

The green chococo is able to cross over only mountains in FF7.

The blue chocobo can only run across shallow rivers and streams.

The black chocobo can go across mountains and also shallow rivers and streams. The same abilites as the green and the blue chocobos.

The gold chocobo can go across anything! Mountains, rivers, the ocean it doesn't matter! This is the ultimate chocobo!
