This is the venue for all of the assorted textish stuff that has been calling to me at night, disturbing my sleep with their demands to be posted on the web.
Papers:*
Effect of Oligomerization on the Inhibition of Acetylcholintsterase by Current and Potential Alzheimer's Theraputics--That godawful title is the name of the paper I wrote in the DoD internship program of SEAP with GWU at WRAIR (DoD=Department of Defense; SEAP=Secience and Engineering Apprenticeship Program; GWU=George Washington University; WRAIR=Walter Reed Army Institute of Research). The great thing about military labs is that when something isn't wordy (like the title) it is acronymed.
Aquatic Therapy: An evaluation of rehabilitative aquatic conditioning as a treatment tool for pediatric disabilities.--Another godawful title, another incredibly long paper. This is the result of a 1 1/2 year agony known as "THE EXTENDED ESSAY." Actually though, I have ended up kinda proud of it, in a bizzare parental way. Anyway, if anyone is insane enough to do something on this topic, feel free to use my paper as a refrence.
*If anyone ever reads these papers, I have lots more to post, but I figured two is enough to start.
Pseudo-Artistic Endevours:
Heartburn--yes, it is a poem, and yes, I do mock web-writers who swamp their page in their own poetry, but this is actually a poem that I like, and it isn't too angsty, so I figure who'll be hurt?
The SemiUnOfficial Dada Ducks Manifesto--Mwah-ha-ha-ha! On this the neo-natal day of our Ford, Marcel Duchamp, we the Dada Ducks do hereby inviolate the rules and invocate the new era! *~*Sorry for the inconvenience, but a large mushroom man ate the manifesto, so it is no longer available.
Humor:
Summer '97: Amelia's A Working Gal An ironic look at employment.
~*~*~*~ To be added to as soon as I feel another comedic spell come over me.~*~*~*~
OtHeR tExT:
Try looking in "Diary," and in "Rants" for more textual-type stuff offering insights into my strange and twisted soul, on reflective and antagonistic themes, respectively.
