It had been 26 years since Margate had last reached the 1st Round of the F.A.Cup so when we drew Fulham it was all that more special. As perennial underacheivers the fact that we were on Sky and all believed that we could win was amazing. The live coverage meant that there was to be a 1o'clock kick-off so we met up in a local park at 8am to get our vocal chords lubricated. On the day it was not to be as Fulham equalised through a ropey deflection and we lost our one real threat in Buglione.
