Rollercoaster Tycoon is a very complicated game, having many features which may be difficult to learn. The aim of this page is to give you general tips on how to do various things in the game. Sound options; In the options menu you will find an option to change the quality of sound in the game. If you have the bare minimum specification for Rollercoaster Tycoon, you will need to have the sound options set to Minimum. If you can match the Recommended Specification, turn the sound up to 'Best Sound Quality'. The minimum and recommended specification is on my RCT 'Specs' page. Click HERE to go there now. If you miss an important message, click on the messages tab at the top right of the screen. Even easier, click where messages are displayed to see all the recent messages. Now you need not miss anything, even if you need to leave the game to somewhere in a hurry! If you are running the game in a high screen resolution (800x600 or 1024x768) and the game starts to run quite slowly, try reducing the screen resolution to 640x480. This will give your hardware an easier time as it can concentrate on running the game rather than displaying a complex image on the screen. |
