Building a good, well designed park may seem easy , but when you get into the game, park layout can be difficult and complicated. Here are a few tips to make your life easier and make your guests happier. Lay out your park so that everything is easy to find. It may be tempting to build one main path from which there are many other branches, but this is often not the best way. If you divide your park into themed areas (for example a Martian area, a Roman area, an Egyption area etc) and have paths which connect them all, you will find that guests can get about much easier and do not get easily get lost. To ensure that guests do not lose their way, build a large network of Information Kiosks so that people can purchase maps. To know what people are thinking click on the tab at the top right of the screen. Open the tab on the right to get a summary. Click on the "I'm Lost" category and then click on the map. If all the lost people are in one area, it may be that you forgot to connect up a path properly. Go to the trouble area and solve the problem. Ensure you have an Information Kiosk at the entrance of your park. Everyone passes this point and most people want to buy a map. If you charge for your rides, but not an entrance fee, but still are not making much money, raise the price of entrance to your park to £1 or £2. This will bring in more money than you may think. |
