Pictures from our gathering at the BCM and our time in airports and on planes.

Brown Beast

Fun times in our travels around the city. Down with the White-Lightningites and the Queenies. Brown Beastians unite!

Gastown in the Rain

Gastown is the older, touristy part of Vancouver. It was a quaint place to enjoy a meal. In fact, "We had Thai food. I felt like I was in Taiwan."--Bethany.

Grouse Mountain

Sixteen feet of snow plus three feet of fresh powder. 'Nuff said.`1

Queen Elizabeth Park

Home to some gorgeous views of the mountains, it's the highest point in Vancouver.

Stanley Park

This area is right on the sound. There were some very picturesque moments.

Granville Island

This island was home to a covered market as well as several galleries and restaurants.

Downtown Buildings

Some cool architecture in the heart of the city.

Broomball at the University of British Columbia

This proves that Canadians are crazy. I'm surprised nobody broke anything.

Cityview Baptist Church

Recollections from our stay at Cityview.

The Bridge(s)

The Bridge is a church meeting in the lower level of the science museum. That's their sign behind Cancer. You will also find pictures of bridges from throughout Vancouver.

Towers and Richmond Chinese Baptist Churches

This church shares a building with Richmond Chinese Baptist Church.  Richmond is a suburb of Vancouver.

ESL

Our main focus was on sharing the gospel by helping students practice their English.

Prayer Walking

This was another of our main ministries. This particular morning, we walked in about four inches of snow.

The Famous Homes Tour

"We went on the famous homes tour . . . Saw both of them."--Jules

The International Party

This was the culmination of our week's activities. Approximately eighty people showed up.

Dogs et al

Fact: Girls love dogs. Here is the proof.

Funny Signs

They're all over the place in Vancouver. Here are some of our favorites.

Pastor Craig's Home

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Pastor Craig and his family. I can't wait to have some more of those Samosas.

Karaoke

We sang everything from "YMCA" to "Wanna Be". Well, "we" didn't sing "Wanna Be". That was Justin and Robin.

Us Being Funny

You'll never believe what Justin did . . .

Artsy Pics

This is me revealing my "artsy-fartsy" side.

Picture Party

Once we got home, we had to share.
