A DEEP-SOUTHERN CHART that is both star-poor and low on bright deepsky objects. Only two dim galaxies made it into the NGC, while a further 10 were included in the IC.

FEATURED OBJECTS: NGC 6557, NGC 6653, ESO024-RN003.
