Tetraday, Dectember 38, 1519 AY, 9:30 hrs, Morning.

Akari was about to try and wrap her arm around Daric's arm, but then she noticed the sliding-door 'swooshed' open in in walked a UAA General.

At exactly 9:30 am, the doors open and a large man walks to the front of the room. His bald head and full beard make him look more like an old baker than a military commander. He is flanked by a taller, arrogant-looking man (Lord Delaney), an attractive blonde woman (Marci), and an handsome man with glasses (Vector). The woman moves to a corner desk and pulls out a lap-top computer and begins to transcribes the meeting. Vector begins to pass out UAA unifroms to each member according to rank. Delaney sits in an empty chair, and Haversom walks to the end of the room. Behind him, the techno-wall is replaced with a holographic image of the Solar Arrays. Once the uniforms are passed out and Vector returns to the General’s side. The room goes dark and the rest of the room joins the pictures of the wall projecting the Solar Arrays. After a second or two of adjustment, the General begins to speak.

Haversom: "Good morning. I don't have much time for this, so I will be brief. You have all been chosen by your various governments to represent them in the Overwatch program. However, no matter where you come from, that ended the moment you entered this room."

Haversom pauses a moment to look around the room before he continues. "You entered this room strangers: Kargan, Elaran, Murian and Ettaran. You will leave members of Fireflight. That is your new squadron name. Major Larani is the flight capitain." Haversom points to Larani and then points to Cedric. "Her second is Commander Cedric. The old ways are dead; I will not hear of any infighting. The world is looking to you as examples. You WILL be those examples, so be on your best behavior at all times! As of this moment, you are officially no longer under your oaths of service to your respective monarchs and their nations. You now serve in the UAA to protect the Algol world and her colonies as a whole, and without exception. This is noted as of 10-38-1519, (Dectember 38, 1519 AY,) 9:40 am, and logged. (Marci nods.) Welcome aboard. Are there any questions?"

Akari, being the curious cabbit she tends to be, asked "I heard the UAA, uhm-ah, we have a flagship?"

Eiran snapped his full attention to that.

Haversom looks to Akari seriously, Akari steps back. "Yes, there is the Rimfire, but it is still under construction and won't be finished for at least a week. Until which time Fireflight will be stationed here at Dion Base."

Eiran: After hearing the answer, he made his own question with a gleaming on his eyes, his voice almost merged with Tammis, but Tammis allowed Eiran to question first: "Sir, might I ask which type or types of suits we are going to use, and which maintenance facilities are at our disposal - I don't mean here at Dion, Sir, but onboard the flagship?"

Haversom: "As I said, Rimfire won't be ready for at least a week, however, Dion Base will be our main ground facility, which Vector," Haverson points to the man who passed out the UAA uniforms, "will be giving you a tour of after our talk."

Eiran cleared his throat, about to say "Excuse me, Sir, but that wasn't my question", when Harvesson's answer to Tammis came.

Haverson, looks to Eiran, and replies "Then speak in a less confusing and confident manner, Ensign."

Erian: "..."

Tammis finally taking the oppotunity to ask his question asks "And what will be flying, as flight tactician I'd like to get to know the hardware as quickly as possible" The light begins to glow behind Tammis eyes.

Tammis quickly adds to his first question: "And does anyone else here have Zero-gee training if not I'd like to begin that soon as well."

Haversom: "Well some new Mektons are shipping in sometime this week, unfortunately until then they are classified to UAA Ranks below Capitain, so that is all I can say. As far as Zero-Gee training, you won't be getting that until after your Meks arrive. This week is really for you to get familiar with the UAA facility and our military structure."

Tammis: "Thank you general" Tammis passes a fenris pup glance over at his lowly rank insignia wishing he'd gone through OCS now.

Erian: "Thank you, Sir, that answers my previous question." (Eiran forgot he never actually asked it again)

A few moments pass in silence.

Haversom: "Well, then if that is all the questions for now?" Haversom scans the room to see if anyone else has a question.

Tammis: "When can we expect to see our assignment postings, and when do we meet the Rimfire crew?" Tammis begins to wonder if he's being too nosy...

Tammis also adds: "And I need to know if there is a simulator we could use, specifically I'd like to go over carrier landings for anyone whose never landed on a boat before" Tammis shrugs "Rimfire probably won't be as wobbly as carriers on choppy seas, but it is still moving."

Haversom: "Well Ensign Veric, All this can be asked and be best answered by Liaison Officer Vector when your on tour of Dion Base facilities." Haverson again pointed to the man who had passed out the uniforms earlier.
