Chapter 5 - Thank God She Came

After meeting up with them, we went to the cookhouse to eat. My Grandma had brought so much food for me to eat! While I was enjoying my food, I decided to message Ada. I asked her if she had came. She said that she came and asked me where I was. We exchanged messages without any avail, as we were moving from place to place and it was hard for us to meet.

Time passed by in a flash and all visitors would be leaving in a hour plus. I still haven't seen Ada yet! I thought to myself. This could be my one and only chance to see her again for a long time to come, and I make sure I'm not gonna let this golden opportunity slip by. I decided to call her.

"Hello! Ada. Wanna meet?" I said.

"Where are you?" She answered.

"I'm at my bunk, fifth floor there." I replied.

"Me at fourth floor inside my brother's bunk." She said.

"Why don't we meet outside the fourth floor lift? Ok?" I asked.

"Ok. See you." She replied.

Upon ending the call, I took my Auntie's camera and rushed towards the stairs. When I saw her standing there smiling at me when I jumped down from the stairs, I was ecstatic. Words just can't describe how I felt when I saw her during that time. Till today, I still can't forget that feeling. (It's like someone had gone to jail for many years and he saw his lover waiting at the gate for him when he came out. It's that feeling.)She's still the same as before. Just as pretty as slim. As for me, I changed a lot. She said that I'm much fitter and darker. Although my physical appearance had changed, my heart had never changed at all. (Crap..) We chatted for a while and I left after taking some pictures with you.

Time was up and my grandma and relatives had to leave. I bidded goodbye to them and ran back to my company line. Think I got scolded by my sergeant for bringing so many visitors. I received a message and it was from Ada. It wrote:

"I go back liao. Must take care of yourself leh. Maybe can meet one day. Take care."

This may mean nothing to people with many female friends, but this message surely mean a lot to me. It showed that she cared, at least a little bit, for me. She even asked to meet me some day. I decided. I want to meet her on her coming birthday. I want to celebrate it with her.
