Chapter 7 - That Special Day With Her

Today was going to be the most special day of my life. Because I'm gonna celebrate her birthday for her! Yeah! While I was in the MRT to Orchard, I received an sms from her. For a moment, I thought she's not coming. But to my relief, she just messaged me to say that she had reached already. When I reached the place, I rushed to the meeting place.

I just can't explain, but whenever I saw her, I just have that unexplainable feeling inside me. I felt so happy just to see her. She looked really pretty that day. I can say I"m damn proud to be the man walking beside her.

We went to have Tim Sum buffet at Taka. It was quite expensive, but it was worth every penny. Everything could be refilled and ordered again and I really had a great meal with her.

After that, we went shopping around Orchard. While shopping, I decided to give her a surprise br going to collect her birthday cake and give it to her! Thus, I told her to wait for me the the Aquarium there, where there are many fishes.

I ran all the way back to Taka and collect the cake. I was running like an idiot and people seeing me will think I'm nuts. I couldn't care less. I just don't want her to wait so long for me, so I ran as fast as possible. I was also afraid she would leave before I reached there. She just didn't give me the confidence that she would wait for me. Maybe it's because of our past.

Fortunately for me, she was still standing there looking at the fishes when I came back from the cake shop. I showed her the cake and she was surprised. She then told me, "Want to go Tampines? I wanna buy something there." I agreed and we left for Tampines.

When we reached Tampines, after shopping and buying all the stuff, finally it was time to sit down and eat our birthday cake. We went to the Coffee Bean at Century Square. There, we sat down and have our birthday cake. While we were having our cake, I can't help noticing the number of eyes qround us. Even couples, who sitting opposite us, were envious of us as they kept looking at us and smiling at us. I realised how lucky I am. How I wish time would stop there forever, and I mean forever...
